The WATCHMEN was a brilliant satire that deconstructed the comic book forever, and people are worried these prequels are going to be just comic books. They won’t be epoch-making once-in-a-lifetime experiences that will mark everything before and after. They’ll simply be the work of folks doing their best and falling short of shocking genius.
